Hiya Wit!
Quick question for you as we roll into October:
Where does your story currently live?
Is it neatly organized in a dedicated folder on your desktop? Or is it sharing mental space with grocery lists, dentist reminders, laundry guilt, and that lingering work email you haven’t answered yet? (Be honest!)
Most writers assume books don't get written because of "lack of discipline" or "bad ideas."
I'm not so sure about that.
Books don't get written because the canvas is already covered in junk. When your brain is running twenty browser tabs in the background, trying to cram a 70,000-word manuscript into whatever scraps of mental bandwidth remain feels exhausting before you've even typed the first word.
In The Storyteller’s Way, before we ever touch plot beats or fatal flaws, we define the boundary of the story. We give it an actual container.
Before you can build a world, you have to clear a corner of your life to put it in.
This October, our whole focus is one thing: Make Room for the Story.
Because come November, we are opening the doors to The November Story Room—a dedicated, supportive writing month designed to help you make massive, joyful progress on your book without burning your life down in the process.
Let’s start today by claiming your container.
To help you get everything out of your head and onto paper, I put together a simple, one-page November Story Plan worksheet. It maps your project, your target, your weekly writing windows, and a pre-made reset plan so you’re ready to roll.

Print it out, fill in that first box, and let’s give your story the room it deserves.
Happy writing!
